Sharia is based on an assumption, that law have to provide everything what is needed for a spiritual and a physical evolution of individuals. In Islamic law there are no separation of a secular life and a spiritual life and moreover, a typical written sources of law. It makes a specific normative system, completely different than this which is known for citizens from states of western culture. What kind of provisions rules an islamic marriage law?

Are there equal rights for both parties of a marriage? Is a polygamy legal? What will happen after you tell three times “I’m getting divorced” and whether it involves a legal effects? Is it possible to marry somebody for a fixed-term?
